Sonographer
Alana is a sonographer with a passion for foetal and women’s health ultrasound, particularly in high-risk obstetrics. With an extensive knowledge in anatomy and sonography, she is highly skilled in obstetric, pelvic, abdominal, thyroid, vascular, and paediatric scanning.
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Alana graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT)’s completing her Diagnostic Medical Sonography course in 2009. She moved to the Cayman Islands in 2019, bringing experience from hospitals and clinics across Canada, where she worked closely with radiologists and perinatologists.
Committed to patient care, Alana creates a compassionate, comfortable, and reassuring environment. She is dedicated to learning and continuing to refine her scanning techniques, following the latest AIUM protocols and safety parameters to ensure an accurate diagnosis.
