We are very excited to have started off our year with Dr. David Stone joining our team at OceanMed. Dr. Stone is from Detroit, MI where he began his career, and has been practicing in the Cayman Islands for the past 5 years.

Dr Stone is well known and respected within the Cayman community, serving many women throughout their pregnancy and with various women’s health issues. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery and advanced laparoscopy, treating women with abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, vaginal prolapse, and infertility, just to name a few. During Dr Stone’s 20+ years in the medical profession, he has been responsible for training hundreds of resident physicians and fellow colleagues, particularly in the areas of minimally invasive surgery, hereditary cancer syndrome risk assessment, counselling and treatment, and preterm birth prediction and prevention.

With Dr. Stone’s amazing personality and expertise, paired with the skilled and compassionate staff at OceanMed and the state-of-the-art technology, it is a match made in OBGYN heaven!

Our clinic

Our clinic is located in George Town, overlooking the harbor front and sparkling turquoise water. On arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly, experienced and professional team of physicians and support staff. You can relax in our beautiful waiting room or will be taken through to a private patient lounge where you can change into comfortable robes and take some time before your appointment. When you enter our examination rooms you will see how unlike traditional clinics they are. We have designed our rooms as sensory suites with calming music, visuals and aromas designed to stimulate the senses and shift your focus to more calming thoughts.
